Nothing is better than a walk, bike ride, (or even winter snowshoe outing) along a scenic, natural trail.  Unless, of course, that trail is connected to miles upon miles of other trails, all ripe for the exploring.  That's why a huge part of our mission is not only to forge new paths, but to connect existing ones - bringing together the people and the places we love.

With your generosity and support, we were able to accomplish the following in 2022:

• COMPLETED Kochville Pathway: Now stretches 5.5 miles and connects to the Tittabawassee Twp. Path! Ride or run on a smooth, quiet, paved non-motorized trail through the heart of Kochville Township along an electrical transmission line. 

• COMING SOON Dow Pathway

• PLANNED Midland Township Connection

• PLANNED restoration of the Smith's Crossing Bridge

Hello Trailblazers! 

2023 has offered stollen time on the trails as snowfall has been minimal in our area!  Who has braved the trails for record miles in January?  At Great Lakes Bay Regional Trail, we are looking back on 2022 with joy and gratitude!  With your generosity and support, we were able to accomplish:
